In a charming converted country house dating from 1930, we have 10 lovely rooms incuding a garden cottage. All rooms are comfortable and with a cosy ambiance. Romantic French charm, enhanced by an English touch, reign over the Chateau de Montreuil, a delightfully charming boutique style hotel located in Montreuil, in the Pas de Calais area of Northern France.
In this private residence, once belonging to the Baronne Fould-Springer/Wooster-Rothschild families, all the bedrooms are different in size and decor, old brick floors scattered with rugs joust with classic cosy carpeting. Your comfort and wellbeing is our only concern during your stay, whether you are travelling alone, as a couple or a family.

Our bedrooms are mostly in the main house and we have one Garden cottage located in the separate "Courtyard Residence Maison d'hôte" next door to the hotel. Don't wait to find out and discover all that we can offer you ! Come in and see us, and experience our unique atmosphere, warm welcome and relaxed and cosy ambiance.
The bedooms at Chateau de Montreuil are situated mostly in the the main house, on the 1st or 2nd floors. Please note that we are a converted country house private residence, and we do not have a lift/elevator. All our rooms have lovely views out over the hotel gardens and some, over to the Roman citadel and ramparts. Comfortable and with space to relax, our bedrooms will charm you with their cosiness and romantic ambiance. Antique furniture, soft warm beds and most rooms have comfy armchairs or sofas : The best of both sides of the English Channel mix here harmoniously, so that you will enjoy a unique stay.

Escape to the countryside ! Near to le Touquet, the Chateau de Montreuil proposes you to stay in our Garden Cottage, a charming Cottage in our Maison d'Hote"Le Courtyard Residence", next door to the main hotel. With its independant entrance, it will feel like a home from home, but with all the added extras of the hotel services (breakfast in the cottage etc). The cottage is set out on two floors. On the upper level, there is a comfortable bedroom with a King size bed. On the lower level, there is a lovely sitting room and bathroom with bathtub, separate shower etc… so kick off your shoes, throw on a bathrobe and relax !

Our spacious family room is most suited to a couple with up to 2 under 10 year old children. It is in fact, two rooms : a large master bedroom with bathroom (bathtub) for the parents and a small separate sitting room into which we can put two additionnal roll-away type beds or cots, for up to 2 young children. Our family room is located in the main house of Chateau de Montreuil, on the 2nd floor, where you will be able to admire the view out over the hotel gardens and Roman citadel.

Our smallest rooms ! (quite often on special offer - scroll down!) Cosy, comfortable for a short stay, but not very spacious...these rooms each have one double bed and a bathroom, and are located in the main house, garden annex and Courtyard Residence.

Standard Double or Twin, 1 or 2 people
Smaller than the first two room categories, but still pretty and comfortable rooms with double or twin beds, these less luxurious rooms are located at ground level in the Garden Annex. Very popular with regular guests wishing some peace and quiet and a garden view, or who have pets that like an early morning sniff of fresh air "on the door-step".

Superior Double or Twin, 1 or 2 people *
These are some of our more traditional or classic bedrooms, comfortable, spacious rooms, each room has a double bed and a bathroom and are located in the Main House, on the 1st or 2nd floors. (please note we do not have a lift!). Often chosen again and again, by our guests !

Cottage-Suite, for 1 or 2 people *
Our most spacious rooms, the cottage suites are located next door to the Hotel, in the separate `Courtyard Residence`, with a private access path through the hotel gardens. Each cottage is a duplex on two levels, the upper floor, accesed via a small staircase, has one King size double bed and flat screen TV, and on ground floor, there is a cosy sitting room with another flat screen TV, DVD and CD players, and a lovely bathroom with spa bath, separate shower etc. The cottages are fully air-conditionned, so are very popular in the summer, or for longer cosy stays in the winter when you want somewhere comfortable to snuggle up in the warm, and read or watch a good movie - a real "home from home".

Appartment or family bedroom, 1 or 2 people
This room is on the second floor of the main house (no lift) and has a main master bedroom with a King size double bed, a bathroom with bathtub, and also a small cosy sitting room.
This room is ideal for a couple looking for space to relax in, or for a young family with a maximum of two young children in addition to the parents, whom we could accommodate in the sitting room in two roll-away beds
